control. This risk is managed via our training and expertise, as well as the participants
cooperation and involvement in the risk assessment and management process during
the course.

Insurance, liability & loss


We are fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity cover.
Participants and/or legal guardians are responsible for their own personal accident
insurance, specialised travel/adventure insurance and cancellation insurance.
If you already have insurance, please ensure it covers the activities you will be undertaking.


Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or
anything that cannot be excluded under UK law.
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.

Risks & outdoor activities


Rock climbing is an adventurous outdoor activity involving inherent risks such as slips, falls,

rockfall, equipment use, weather conditions, and remote locations. By taking part, the participant
accepts these risks.

Weather

Activities take place outdoors and may run in varying conditions where safe. Instructor decisions regarding safety are final.

Equipment

We provide all technical and safety equipment, unless otherwise stated i.e. for courses at theintermediate level and above, the participant is expected to bring their own personal
equipment (harness, helmet, climbing shoes, chalk); We will check this meets our safety
standards, if not, we can provide these for a £20 additional charge.


The participant or legal guardian will need to bring suitable clothing, food, and drink for the day.

Children & young people

We can only accept participants under 18 if accompanied by a participating legal
guardian.

Photos & videos


Photos or videos may be taken for promotional use. Please inform us in advance if the participantprefers not to be included.

Cancellations & changes (by us, roxyclimbing)

Every attempt will be made to ensure courses run as scheduled. However, if we believe
there are reasonable grounds for cancellation i.e. due to dangerous or unsuitable
conditions, we will notify the participant or legal guardian as soon as possible.

We may cancel or amend activities due to dangerous weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In these cases, you will be offered a rescheduled date or afull refund.

We will not be liable for any travel or accommodation-related expenses.

Cancellations & changes (by the participant)


You may attempt to fill your space with another participant by agreement.


● If cancelled greater than or equal to 4 weeks in advance of the class/course start date,
a full refund will be issued.
● If cancelled between 2 and 4 weeks in advance of the class/course start date, a 50%A
refund will be issued.
● If cancelled less than 2 weeks in advance of the class/course start date, no refund willbe issued.

Bookings & payment

All bookings are subject to availability. The participant’s booking is confirmed once payment is
received in full. Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment is accepted via bank transfer or PayPal.
Upon booking, we will issue an invoice/receipt for you.
Medical declaration and personal information forms will be sent out upon booking.

Accommodation

All courses are non-residential. This gives the participant flexibility regarding where to
stay and helps reduce course costs. We can make recommendations if required.

Number of attendees

A minimum number of participants is required to run some courses, and similarly, there is
a maximum number of participants. To avoid disappointment, please book well in
advance.

Complaints

Please raise concerns on the day, where possible or contact us within 14 days of the activity.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
